Many will "mine" your information from legitimate employment sites such as Monster.com, and will likely contact you by email with requests for additional personal information like your date of birth and/or your SS#. We urge everyone to never give out this type of information to any such "recruiters". One such scam is an email asking if your are "still in the job market". However, once you visit the site and fill out all the information they want, they will inform you that for a small fee of $50 to $500 you can greatly increase your chances to land a dream job with a salary in excess of $250k. This will of course never happen, but that doesn't stop thousands of employment seekers from falling for this company's disgusting exploits; and this is just one of many such companies.
